We've been working with PhotogenX for 5 years now, which is still a bit hard for us to wrap our heads around. But that's a story for another blog.
Since we've been married, we've been able to travel to Thailand, Argentina, South Africa and Hawaii to work with PhotogenX teams overseas.
This year, they came to us.
We are stoked at the possibilities, humbled at the magnitude of having these great ones beside us for the next couple of years.
They flew from Norway, England, America and Australia to be with us here in Canada for part of their travels.
While they are here, we'll be teaching them leadership and photography classes in the mornings (with a smattering of guest speakers like the esteemed elder Mr. Grime teaching church history and others teaching on topics like worldview.)
These guys will also be spending a lot of time volunteering for some rad local outreaches in between doing their homework and meeting cool new Canadians.
We have a long road to walk with them, but even at the onset of the journey we have already been astounded at their humility, big heartedness and courage.
They've jumped in to wash our dishes without being asked, take on loads of responsibilities and walk miles with us through a grey, rainy day sans complaints. Yep, we definitely think they are keepers.
We're so excited to meld into a family with these incredible souls.
More stories on this line coming.
