If you know me at all, then you've heard me talk (rant, wax eloquent, rave) about my beloved friend, Anne. Once upon a time, we traveled the world together, coordinated teams, made some mistakes, wore weird clothes, shared every single secret between us.
Now we live thousands of miles away from each other:
And, yes, it's horrible.
Fortunately I was able to see her for a hot minute on my way to and from San Antonio. And I literally mean a minute in our world, with the amount of stuff we needed to catch up on after a dramatic 1.5 year desperate separation.
We had to speed talk, people.
But it was a beautiful hot minute and I'm grateful for every second that my life includes this girl and her sweet family. Spending time with her (and family) is water for my soul, butter for my bread, sugar for my tea, the bow for my hair, the icing on my cake, the peanut butter to my jelly.
