Anna and Eric found the most magical spot for their engagement session and it was worth every minute of the hike down + the variety of mosquito bites we all obtained.
Tucked away in little Glen Morris (the same hamlet we had our wedding reception in, for those of you who didn't know) is a hidden gem called the German Woolen Mill Ruins.
The nook is said to be haunted-what better place for photos of love and forever?!
Anna and Eric-you're awesome.
We're stoked to celebrate your wedding at the Peninsula Ridge Estates in July. It will be a great day. Happy last month of wedding planning!
For anyone who is up for a wee adventure, you can get to the hidden ruins as follows:
Go north on the East River Road out of Cambridge. Park at the small parking area on the left (or west) of you. It will the second "parking area" you see. It's at #586 East River Road. There is a rusted gate that you can walk around and the small trail takes you all the way to the bottom where the ruins sit on the edge of the Grand River. Don't forget to wear long sleeves and dose yourself in bug spray.
xo.
