Justin and Erin live in Alberta, but he surprised her with a trip away to Toronto last weekend. He'd already talked to us and made arrangements for us to photograph his early-morning proposal but she had no idea what was happening behind the scenes.
Justin suggested brunch and had Erin at the restaurant for 8:30-"when it opened."
"Ooops. Guess it doesn't open until 9:30. Since it's not open yet, let's walk around Liberty Village."
(We couldn't actually hear any part of the conversation, but I imagine that it went down something like that.)
Meanwhile, Jonathan and I were staked out nearby, and I was "modelling" for Jono so that when he took photos of the pending proposal it wouldn't be so obvious.
He's sneaky that one.
It felt a bit chaotic, but I don't think any of us felt the adrenaline as much as Justin. He said he'd sleep well the night after the proposal.
Anyhoo. Erin said YES. Now they are going to have a wedding and be married and live happily ever after.
Thanks so much for including us in your special proposal plans, Justin.
All the best.
xo.
