There are SO many reasons we loved documenting Katy and John's wedding and reception at the Arlington Hotel in Paris earlier this month. First and foremost, they are wonderful humans. Secondly, Katy loves Anne of Green Gable so she clearly has Layne's undying love and loyalty. Anddddd, Katy and John met in England while Katy was there teaching and so much of their relationship involved airplanes and distance and long flights - a plight with which we have so much empathy.
Oh, and of course, Jonathan has known Katy for her entire life. Literally. So being there at the wedding was extra special for that reason alone.
All of those wonderful facts aside, their wedding day was AMAZING. It was gorgeous and detailed and full of the things we love the most - close friends, family, an outstanding bridal party, and a lot of laughs. So many of the details are from Katy's family and she brought them together in a STUNNING reception.
