Side note: When we first started the photography business, we shot E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G together. No matter how small or far the shoot, we'd drive around tackling the jobs together. Around three years ago (?) we started more of a "conquer and divide" system to actually be able to do all the work we had. Besides, we were finding it redundant to both shoot everything. We ended up with too many photos that couldn't possibly be used anyway!
So these days when we find ourselves both shooting (like our Wednesday shoot at the Elora Mill), we find we are extra grateful. (We are rarely even at the office together - so it's a treat to actually find ourselves editing side-by-side.) So it was fun setting up their shoot together - we like bonding over our business.
All this nostalgia and side story aside, Mary and Dan are having a BABY. And they are really cute and photogenic. Here are a few of our favourite photos from their maternity session this morning.
We don't do many studio maternity sessions, but it's nice to do a different style every-so-often, and since Mary and Dan preferred inside to bracing the Canadian cold, well, I wasn't going to complain.
