Happy Holidays//Family Style

Merry Christmas, y'all! 

Happy New Years too (and any other holidays you may be celebrating/observing this month.)

We've been playing hooky, spending lots of time with the fam jam. (Though so many of my people are still in Kentucky, boo, we had my mom and sister up in Brantford for the week.)

We've slept in, played games, eaten a TON of food, enjoyed some walks and generally c.h.i.l.l.e.d.

It's been Great!

I'm back in the office for the second half of this week, so I thought I'd share a few photos. We didn't take many, but you'll get the idea.

Santa is Eating my Soul and Other Such Tales

We did the "Santa photo thing" for the first three years of our marriage/business, but I'm not going to lie- we were grateful when we thought that season in our life had ended.

And then 2016 happened. The dynamics of the photo business aside, we've had a lot of our equipment break this year, and our car broke, and apparently I'm supposed to be paying American taxes, and we bought a house, and said house had bats. And our life became a #1 hit country song.

And, and, and.

Life is expensive, what else is new.

We were thankful our Santa boss took us back with open arms and has let us take on the bulk of his Santa shifts for this Christmas season at the White Oaks Mall in London. He's amazing, Santa is nice, and we get to work together.

So we are sorry for the elongated silence; we've been working too much to chat or attend Christmas parties.

But we'll be back and lively soon, soon. Promise.
