What is your turn-around time?
We guarantee you will receive their photos within 8 weeks of your wedding.
Will it be the two of you shooting?
We work with a small (but fiery and talented) group of photographers. Right now all of our weddings have at least Jono as a shooter, and sometimes we shoot with with one of our talented second shooters. As we grow, we will book weddings that have someone else from our team as the main shooter. We'll keep you posted!
How many weddings do you typically shoot in a year?
Between photo and video, we shoot anywhere between 20-30 weddings each year. As our company grows, so will the number of weddings we can accept.
What if we don't want engagement photos?
The engagement photos are our gift to you. We think it's a valuable time for us to get to know each other more and for you to have timeless photos of the two of you in "normal" clothes. We do not force this on any of our couples, but encourage it and promise it will be more fun than you think.
How long after the engagement shoot will we receive our images? In what format?
The turnaround time for receiving your images is 2-3 weeks. You can download them from our gallery site in JPG format.
Can you work with pets for the engagement shoot?
Of course!! Jono loves dogs and encourages you to bring your sweet puppies (or kitties, or birdies, or lizards etc.)

We photography a wide variety of weddings, including elopements, backyards, destination, large banquet halls, cathedrals, community halls, 500+ guests, 10 guests, etc.
Can we see full galleries of a few of your recent weddings?
We create blogs posts of most of our weddings, which gives a wide variety of the types of images we capture. Those are available to see HERE.
Have you ever shot a wedding at our ceremony and reception location? If not, do you plan to check out venues in advance?
We have photographed at a LOT of different locations and chances are if you are getting married in Southern Ontario, we have shot there. In the case we have not, we make an effort to research it ahead of time, and if possible, scout out your location ahead of time.
How would you describe your photography style? What would you compare your work to?
Moments, light and composition. These are the 3 pillars we stand by when creating any photograph. Documentary/journalism is the style we aim to achieve when photographing any wedding.
Can I customize the package to suit my needs?
Of course!! We have been changing our packages over the years to suite our customers needs and have come up with packages that we feel speaks to our brides and grooms want. BUT if there’s something out of the ordinary, we are happy to acommodate.
How do you like to structure the day?
The days structure is up to you. We can help guide you in this process to allow for an optimal amount of time for photography, but ultimately, we want you to create the day that suits you two best.
What information would you need from us before the wedding day?
Most of the time, we just need to know the package you want, our starting location(s), and a list of family photos needed. Other than that, leave it up to us to capture the whole day.
If, on the day, we want you to stay later, would you do that? What would it cost?
Absolutely!! We charge $400/hour for 1 photographer and $600/hour for 2 photographers
Do you eat dinner with the guests?
Yes! We bring lots of water and snacks but we're inevitably hungry by dinner. We're grateful to partake in the yummy dinner and are quite comfortable sitting with your friends. We'll behave, we promise!
Do you offer retouching, colour adjustment, or other corrective services? Are those included or extra?
We colour correct, and do a basic edit on all final images that go on your USB. If there’s a need to re-touch (ie. small pimple) we usually fix that while editing.
If you need more intricate editing/retouching, we charge a $25/image fee
Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
There are no travel fees within Southern Ontario (ie London, Guelph, Niagara, Toronto). Anything beyond 2 hours of travel, there’s a $0.60/km fee
Who owns the rights to the images? Can we use engagement shots in invites (if taken early enough)
Simple answer, we both do. You have the rights to use your images for personal use and distribute to family and friends. The only stipulation is you can’t sell them (but why would you anyways? haha)
How much of a deposit do you require? When is it due?
$500, non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date. After choosing to hire us, we would like the deposit at least 6 months prior to your wedding date.
The remaining amount is due on or before the wedding date. Something couples pay installment throughout the year to help with their budget. We give updated invoices each time a payment is made.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Hopefully this never happens to you, but it has happened. Our current policy has changed due to covid-19.
If your wedding is post-poned due to covid-19, your deposit is held for your future date. No re-booking fee is required. If a new date can’t be found, or we are not available and you are cancelling all together, the deposit will be fully refunded.
Do you have liability insurance, covering any assistants you have as well?
Yes, and Yes=)
Do you carry backup equipment?
Always. We know just how important it is to you that we capture your wedding day in full, so we always bring extra memory cards, batteries, flashes, camera bodies, lenses etc.
What is the backup plan if you are unable to shoot my wedding for an unexpected reason?
First, this has NEVER happened to us in 15 years (knock on wood), but in the unlikely circumstance, we always have talented photographers available, and if they aren’t available, we will make every effort to be there ourselves. In the rare case of somehow not being able to capture your wedding, or find a suitable replacement, we refund you in full.
Will you be shooting any other events the same day as my wedding? The same weekend?
We sometimes book multiple weddings in a day, but we never book the same photographer for more than 1 wedding a day. We do book multiple weddings in a weekend when it’s the “busy” season (May-Oct).
How will you and your assistants be dressed?
We don’t want to stand out, and take away from you two. We like to dress is smart, casual clothing, usually black, grey, or dark blue. Anything that is subtle and not distracting.
Are you ok with other people taking photos at the same time as you (e.g. guests with cellphones)? Is it ok if we set up our own video camera for the ceremony?
Of course. We live in the age of technology and we want people to feel free to take photos. That being said, we do encourage couples to notify their guests not to take photos during the ceremony and be “present”. Sometimes Aunt “i own an iPad” Mildred or Uncle “i have professional camera” Billy step into the isle while you are walking down it, obstructing us from capturing you. This is not ideal and makes my job very difficult.
Will you be posting about our wedding on social media, blogs, website, etc? Will you be submitting our photos to magazines/etc?
We love to post images of you two, and hope you love of images enough to let us. We do respect your privacy and will abstain from posting if you ask us.
If I hire you, when would I receive my written contract?
We like to get you the fine details as soon as you are ready to sign. We let our couples choose their package long after they pay the $500 deposit. Once you have chosen your package, we then create the contract for you two to sign.
