After something like 6o hours of traveling (4 flights, 3 layovers, 3 airport lounges, 5+ movies, 1 book)...but who's counting, we landed in Kona today!
And one of the Very First things we did (no, not showered), other than eating Orange Tree and unpacking, was sending our film off to Costco with The Mama to get processed.
We didn't take many photos during our time over in the South of Africa (another post coming soon full of just faces of our friends), but it was fun to wander around with our film camera.
We've spent over half our photography careers using film but these days, the digital-ness often wins out most days of the week. It felt amazing to step back, think, compose and snap straight onto the 35mm strip.
All our first dates included a train ride. I liked going back in time, if only for a morning.
Waffles at the market for breakfast Saturday morning. Yes, please.
Hehe.
We tried to figure out how we could bring one of these over as a checked bag...
I love this one.
Streets of Cape Town.
Truth Coffee Shoppe. (A must-see.)
Timer!
Fast walk with old friends along the beach.
#margotday
...sorry Linds. (At least it's not good of either of us. But I still had to include it.)
Track peeps.
Linds and Cam bringing it. (It=truth.)
Two second goodbye at the beach...because it seemed like the thing to do.
