To be honest, in the last couple of years spontaneity has almost completely gone out the window. To stay sane and get all the work we have completed + get a bit of us time + downtime, most of my days are rather full.
I never see the end of my To Do list-which has ceased stressing me out, which I count as progress. But still I must DO and so the timeline of each day remains.
We got home last night a bit after 9 and just be in the confines of our apartment was oh-so-lovely, even though the floor need vacuuming and our luggage was scattered about hither and yon.
And today, I set my nose to the grindstone and started in on getting organized.
But when my beloved friend Tamarah, whom I haven't seen in ages, called me this afternoon to hang out, I just couldn't resist her sweet voice.
So she came over and we had random chats and painted something for her baby's room. They are super cute, though only halfway finished and I wish you could guess what they are for?
Happy weekend y'all.
Put those TO-DO lists down, grab a glass of wine and just dance.
p.s. Tamarah-I love you! I can't wait to do more spontaneous projects and hang outs with you through the years. I am also excited to see baby's room and to MEET BABY.
