Some days I forget to dream, some days it feels to hard. I want to watch T.V., eat too much and not talk to anyone.
I don't want to face the bleakness of disappointment, the uphill work of making something new come alive, the long hours of uncertainty and unknown that surely come before the Triumph.
But even without meaning too, if I've had even half an hour of silence and and alone time to recharge, I come back to the table with some new idea. Most aren't grand, many are personal.
Here are a few dreams I've had of late:
-see my idea of a mini library collection come alive in Brantford.
-open a shared workspace (we love where we are now, but I'd love to own something bigger and gather even more artists).
-be able to buy plane tickets for my Track girls and good friends to come see me or go on vacation at any given moment.
-own a holiday home that we could rent or borrow out while we aren't there.
-work less and enjoy my life more.
-open a private school with creative learning options for children. I am passionate about good education.
So I'm asking but I want you to ask yourself too-are you still dreaming?
What is One Thing that you can do this year to make your life or the world around you better? I'm not asking for the moon, I'm asking for you to get on board with this one small idea.
Find your One Thing and commit to it with all your heart this year. Find your One Thing that makes you smile, that terrifies you, that you know in your gut is calling your name.
You can do it; I believe in you.
I can't wait to hear how it goes.
xo.
