As we close out another year (!) we wanted to take a few minutes and reflect on the past twelve months.
We posted less than ever before but we’ve been no less grateful for every person/couple/family/business who has entrusted us to tell a piece of their story.
Truly - thank you.
You are beautiful and we’ve loved walking with you.
On the photo business side, we’ve shot dozens of weddings, family sessions, commercial shoots, headshots, engagement sessions, newborn lifestyle sessions, boudoir sessions. We’ve met some lovely new people this year and celebrated some milestones with some folks we’ve been documenting for awhile.
We finally opened our very own and very beautiful photo studio and a bunch of people came out to celebrate our grand opening with us.
On a personal note, the book Laynie wrote with her friend Lindsay came out this past January (it’s been almost a year!) and she’s already writing another - this time as a solo project.
Jonathan has spent his free time playing badminton and video games. (We’ve even gotten in a few dates this year.)
And K keeps us daily entertained with his stories, sass, and expressions.
Mostly, we’ve spent as much time as humanly possible simply being a family and exploring together.
Thanks for the good times, 2019. 2020, we’re coming for you.
