I promised you I'd keep you posted on our little home garden experiment, so here I am with a full update. (Because Saturdays are for gardening, right?)
First, I need to show you a little glimpse of my vibrantly thriving succulents/plants:
I've had these beauties since we moved into our house last July and Jonathan gifted me with these plants. He's rolled his eyes all winter as I've raced my tray of green from window to window so my plant babies could soak up all the rays of light they could get.
I have been determined to own my green(e) thumb.
And it's clearly working.
Sometimes I let them socialize with my wee seedlings, so they can encourage each other in growth and all things green.
At first glance, all looks right in my world of plant raising:
And in fact, for awhile, some of these plants thrived:
But the horrific reality I must confess is that I've actually killed two entire trays of seedlings. (Enter Very Sad Face here.)
I'm devastated.
(I need my aunt!)
But I haven't given up. I've re-planted some seeds indoors and plan on planting what I can outdoors this weekend too.
Green things make me happy, even if I don't make them happy. I shall prevail.
Update coming soon.
xo.
