It's Lazy Day!

Hiiiiii peeps; Happy Saturday.
So you may have noticed we've been exceptionally silent over the last couple of days...Yep, that's because we worked crazy hours on Thursday and Friday, getting our gallery ready for its grand opening last night. (Silly me thought we could throw everything together in half a day. Guess I've always been an optimist.)
Anyhoo. We got it all set up, and right on time.
And we spent last night with many friends, family (Layne's dad and step-mum were even up from KY!) and the community chatting, eating and looking at some art.
We felt super loved and supported by everyone who came out and will say again that We Have The Best Friends in the Entire World. We're so grateful!
And if you didn't get to make it out last night, the gallery {title "Odds and Ends of the World"} will be up the entire month of August at the Brantford Arts Block at 111 Sherwood. It's a rad venue, the kind we dream about for our studio space and then drool a little.
*And* yesterday we were happy to replace our 20-year-old lighting kit with a newer, snazzier kit and set up a mini photo booth at the show last night.
