Mel and Dave are the kinds of people we want in our life forever - warm, welcoming, kind, big-hearted, and you get the idea.

Shooting their wedding felt like spending the day with old friends! (Which was actually a little bit true as we've known Melanie for the past few years and have done some work for her fashion business Verspertine. Check it out HERE if you're in need of some pretty and unique pieces.) But fashion aside! Mel and Dave! They're great together!

(Though it should be noted that Mel MADE HER OWN DRESS and of course it was Stunning, one of my all-time faves.)

And their wedding at Hotel Ocho in Toronto was a DREAM. Thanks for having us document your big day, guys! It was such an honour.

Toronto Wedding//Kelly & Tyler

Kelly and I (Layne) worked together at Starbucks years ago, so it was incredibly special when she reached out to see if I'd want to shoot her mini wedding in Toronto in July of 2018. (And by mini, I mean she and her fiance, Tyler, were meeting two of their closest friends at the court house in Toronto and getting married.)

It was as simply and perfect as they promised!

They even invited Jonathan and I to join them for a yummy lunch afterwards which we did. We love seeing how each couple chooses to celebrate and honour their new life together and this incredible day was no exception.
