business that is.
Around the time we got married, Jonathan officially decided to take the plunge and commence his own photography business, a long-time dream.
In so many ways, the timing was terrible. I couldn't get a job because I was immigrating and we were trying to pay off debt. Oh, and did I mention that photography is a rather flooded industry these days?
But pause for a sec here while I look up some inspirational quotes on all the important things in life being worth the difficulties and hardships.
We didn't even expect me to work with the business when he first started it, but it seems our dreams and photography skills have aligned to create one marvelous masterpiece of a business. Life is funny like that.
It has been hard indeed-and beautiful, surprising, fun, intense, frustrating and a dozen things in between.
And we are grateful every single day that we get to wake up and work for ourselves, work together, work with other amazingly talented professionals and meet some incredible people along the way.
Thank you (thank you, thank you!) to everyone who has believed in us, hired us, championed us, sent us encouraging words, let us document your story along the way.
We couldn't be without you-and we like being here very much indeed.
