Israel is one of my (Layne's) Very Favourite places in the world and I've been wanting to bring the Jono here for ages. So it worked out quite happily that we were able to travel with our wee track family to Israel and Jordan for the next couple of weeks. We won't be blogging much, but a few photos to tide you over until our next installment.
Jono & Laynie //Dallas, Texas//Dallas-ing It.
Anne and I have been friends for almost 6 years now, but it feels like 26. The width and breadth of our friendship makes up for all the years we missed being in girl scouts together or childhood slumber parties.
Once we became friends, we made up for our lack of memories almost immediately. From miles-long Sunday walks along the ocean just to get coffee, to billy goats and mountains, to being at each other's weddings, this girl is on the forever list of this ole' Grimey heart.
I can not give enough laud to who she is-not only to me but to all those who know her.
But we'll stop the mush right there, because the bigger news at the moment is that a few weeks ago, Anne and Jason welcomed The Darlingest little bébé girl into the world. So this week I popped down to Dallas to greet the wee one and hopefully help out a bit. But basically Annie is supermom so I just hold the baby when I can and Anne spoils me with meals and treats. I'm not sure how that's adding up, but oh well.
And our adventure list during this trip continues to grow-from broken heaters resulting in a 2-day staycation at her parents' house, to a hypothetical gas leak resulting in a visit from the fire department, the good times are rollin' in.
Thanks Dallas, thanks friend for the memories. I'll be back soon to make some more. xo.
